In October, we had a regular income month and a slightly higher expense month (see spreadsheet screenshot).

This month, our total net income was $14,006.01.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received $109.99 in company reimbursements. We also received $51.23 in METLIFE insurance reimbursements.  We earned $101.59 in interest income from our savings account.

Our expenses this month totaled $14,830.09.  Large, non-fixed expenses included $1190 for landscaping maintenance (includes $1050 for tree trimming), $1,125.99 for medical and prescriptions, and $565.47 for our Son’s driver’s education.

Next month, my wife will receive a 2% raise, increasing her salary to $233,025.
