June 2022 Income Statement

In June, we had an average income month and very low expenses. 

Our total income in June was $8,539.70.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received $212.07 company reimbursement for internet and toll roads.  We earned $37.62 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $5,538.86. This is pretty misleading because we received a $6,150 refund for a cancelled vacation. We have begun to book new vacation plans but only spent a few hundred on it so far.  Large expenses included $2,260.15 for home owners insurance, $827.24 for medical/prescriptions, and $944.79 for clothing.

Next month my wife begins a new job making $190K, a $12K sign on bonus, $40K in annual bonuses and $45K in company stock.  So proud of her!

May 2022 Income Statement

In May, we had another good income month with pretty reasonable expenses. 

Our total income in May was $13,379.22.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received an $8,252 gross ($4,816.37 net) quarterly bonus and $238.02 company reimbursement for internet.  We earned $35.37 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $8,607.67.  Large expenses included $2,235.39 on groceries, $1,100.20 for medical/prescriptions, and $1,081.50 for household items.

Next month should be a typical income and expense month.

April 2022 Income Statement

In April, we had the perfect balance of a good income month and low expenses. 

Our total income in April was $12,820.67.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks (4.05% raise kicked in mid April), she received a third “extra” paycheck and $192.72 company reimbursement for internet.  We received $115.87 in insurance reimbursements and earned $47.00 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $7,128.37.  So good to see!  Large expenses included $313.07 for medical/prescriptions, and $259.09 for vacation expenses.

Next month my wife should receive quarter bonus of $8,268 gross.  We hope to apply most of it to our 0% credit card balance.

March 2022 Income Statement

In March, we had a pretty extreme income month and expense month. 

Our total income in March was $15,160.59.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received a quarterly bonus of $11,160 gross ($6,513.64 net) and $246.03 company reimbursement for internet.  We received $327.34 in insurance reimbursements and earned $148.46 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $90,870.14  Our largest cost was taxes ($58,444 federal and $21,360 state) from selling cryptocurrency to pay off our mortgage last year.  Other large expenses included $2,366.14 in vacation costs, $741.88 for six months of car insurance, and $709.71 for medical/prescriptions.

Next month my wife should receive a 4.05% raise bringing her salary to $176,060.  She also earned $7,500 in company stock (vests over 4 years)! 

February 2022 Income Statement

In February, we had a pretty standard income month and decent expense month. 

Our total income in February was $8,767.03.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received $224.42 in company reimbursements for internet.  We received $455.29 in insurance reimbursements and earned $162.18 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.  My wife was also informed that she will be receiving a 4.05% raise, bringing her salary to $176,060.  She also earned $7,500 in company stock (vests over 4 years)! 

This month, our expenses totaled $9,351.55.  Large, expenses included $850 to register our kids in private school and pay first month tuition, $775.13 for medical/prescriptions and $426.42 for clothing.

Next month my wife should receive a $11,160 (gross) quarterly bonus.

January 2022 Income Statement

In January, we had a pretty standard income month and an awesomely low expense month. 

Our total income in January was $8,801.91.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received $171.11 in company reimbursements for internet.  We received $270.39 in insurance reimbursements and earned $176.95 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $7,861.87.  That is our lowest expense month since mid 2013! Large, expenses included $1,533.50 for household items, $685 for term life insurance and $416.36 for medical costs/prescriptions.

Next month my wife should receive a quarterly bonus of 11,160 (gross).

December 2021 Income Statement

In December, we had a pretty standard income month and thankfully an amazingly low month expense month. 

Our total income in December was $8,547.71.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received $215.19 in company reimbursements for internet.  We received $333.00 in child tax credits from the IRS and earned $157.91 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $8,692.62.  That is our lowest expense month since July 2013 (which was $8,300.78)! Large, expenses included $580.96 for medical costs/prescriptions, $489.45 for gifts and $208.78 for clothing.

Next month is the start of 2022 and will hopefully bring continued financial blessings.

November 2021 Income Statement

In November, we had a great income month but also a high expense month due to the holidays and home maintenance. 

Our total income in November was $19,408.05.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received a quarterly bonus of $14,784 gross ($9,708.06 net). My wife also received $227.47 in company reimbursements for internet.  We received $334.00 in child tax credits from the IRS and earned $551.89 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $14,341.44.  Large expenses included $4,219 for home maintenance (new fence), $1,787 for our tithe, and $545.75 for medical costs/prescriptions.

Next month we have a family Christmas vacation scheduled so our expenses may be even higher.

October 2021 Income Statement

In October, we had a good income and expense month. 

Our total income in October was $14,098.91.  In addition to my wife’s regular paychecks, she received a third “extra” paycheck. My wife received $184.20 in company reimbursements for internet.  We also received $334.00 in child tax credits from the IRS.  We earned $85.87 in interest income from our savings accounts and stablecoins.

This month, our expenses totaled $12,977.86.  Large, expenses included $864.95 for vacations, $589.27 for entertainment, and $380.13 for medical costs.

Next month, my wife should receive a quarter bonus of ~$13K (gross).  She also may receive her annual raise.

September 2021 Income Statement

In September, we had an amazing month all around.  Details below.

Our total income in September was $262,492.20!  This dramatic number was primarily due to having sold $247,959.97 worth of cryptocurrencies to pay off our house (and cover taxes from selling).  We also had income from my wife’s regular paychecks, my wife’s quarterly bonus of $6,920.00 gross ($4,115.04 net) and $164.76 my wife received in company reimbursements for internet.  I received $1,815.00 in unemployment benefits. We also received $334.00 in child tax credits from the IRS.  We earned $126.96 in interest income from our savings accounts.

This month, our expenses totaled $212,728.90.  Large, expenses included $201,235.90 in extra mortgage payments to pay off our mortgage, $954 for six months of my wife’s gym membership and $744.68 for six months of auto insurance.

Next month, my wife should receive a third “extra” paycheck.
